Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Miss Bikini Fitness, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our custom-made competition bikinis. However, in the rare case that your bikini is faulty or damaged upon arrival, we are committed to offering an exchange or refund in accordance with the following terms.

1. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your bikini arrives damaged or with any manufacturing defects, please notify us within 72 hours of receiving your item. This 3-day period allows us to assess and resolve the issue promptly. After this 72-hour window, we can no longer consider claims for faulty items.

  • Returns: All returns must be sent back in their original condition within 14 days from the date you received your product.
  • Late Returns: Items returned outside of this 14-day window will not be accepted. International returns may take longer to process, so we encourage you to send items back promptly to stay within the 14-day return policy.
  • Exchange Process: In the event of a fault, we will arrange an exchange or refund as appropriate, once the item is returned to us and assessed.

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Please note that custom-made bikinis are specifically tailored to your individual measurements, design preferences, and competition requirements. As such, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for the following reasons:

  • Cancellation of Competition: If you decide not to compete or change your mind about your competition bikini, we cannot offer a refund.
  • Sizing Issues: If the bikini fits based on the measurements you provided, but you experience sizing issues closer to your event, we will not provide a refund.
  • Design Changes: Since each bikini is custom-designed, changes to the design, colour, or fabric once the order has been confirmed cannot be accommodated.

3. Alterations

  • Brief Alterations: The briefs of your custom bikini are made with an additional 1-inch seam allowance on each side to allow for minor adjustments. If necessary, we can make small changes to the brief size. However, the bra portion of the bikini is non-alterable once it has been made, as it is a highly structured garment.
  • Alteration Fees: If alterations are required, they will be at an additional cost, and you will be responsible for the return shipping fees. Please be sure to double-check your measurements to avoid unnecessary alterations. We recommend confirming your measurements well in advance to ensure an accurate fit.

4. Caring for Your Bikini

To maintain the quality of your competition bikini, please follow these care instructions:

  • Washing: Always hand wash your bikini in cold water with a mild, gentle detergent. Do not machine wash, dry clean, or use hot water as this can damage the glue that holds the stones in place.
  • Drying: After washing, allow your bikini to air dry naturally—do not wring out or expose it to direct sunlight.
  • Connectors: Handle the connectors with care to avoid damage. When trying on your bikini, be sure to avoid overstretching the fabric or connectors. If the bikini includes connectors, it’s important not to stretch the waistline too high, as this can cause breakage.
  • Sewing Kit: We recommend having a small sewing kit on hand with matching thread to make any necessary repairs, in the unlikely event that connectors break.

5. Heels and Jewellery

  • Heels: As each pair of posing heels is custom ordered for each individual, we do not offer exchanges or returns on heels. Be sure to carefully check your size and style before purchasing, as heel sales are final.
  • Jewellery: For hygiene reasons, jewellery items such as earrings cannot be returned or exchanged.

6. Deposits & Payments

  • Deposits: All deposits are non-refundable. By paying your deposit, you are committing to the full payment of your order. If you choose to cancel after making a deposit, you will forfeit the full amount of your deposit.
  • Full Payment: If you pay for your bikini in full, this payment is also non-refundable. Once an order is placed and confirmed, cancellations will not be accepted, and no refunds will be issued.

7. Delivery & Shipping

  • Processing Time: Custom-made bikinis typically require a minimum of 4 weeks from the date of payment to complete. Delivery may vary depending on order volume at the time, but we will always aim to complete your order as quickly as possible.

    • Delivery time: 1-3 working days
    • Delivery charge: £5.99 (tracked and signed for)
    • Please note: Delivery to Channel Islands may take slightly longer.
  • European Shipping:
    • Delivery time: 3-5 working days
    • Delivery charge: £16.50 – £20 (tracked and signed for)
  • International Shipping:
    • USA & Canada: Delivery time: 3-5 working days; Delivery charge: £20-£30 (tracked and signed for)
    • Australia: Delivery time: 3-5 working days; Delivery charge: £30 (tracked and signed for)
